About Viking Tool & Gage, Inc.

Viking Tool & Gage's success story originates in 1966 when William C. Foust began machining parts in his garage. His commitment to providing the best possible tools, gages and service has enabled the company to grow to over 170 employees in a 65,000 square foot facility.

In 1998, Viking Tool & Gage, Inc was purchased by Jack L. Burns who had over 40 years experience in the tool and die industry. Viking was subsequently purchased by Brian Burns in 2007 and remains dedicated to continuing the tradition of customer satisfaction.

Viking's Tool & Die Job Shop facility is capable of meeting the needs of the industry's most challenging machining, design and assembly projects. This department offers a unique blend of engineering and machining technology to supply our customers with complete service from spare parts, to fixturing and gage design and build, to complete custom production machinery, and everything in between.

The Production Department handles production volumes from very small prototype quantities to very high volume automotive components. In addition, our varied experience and ingenuity allow us to apply many unconventional techniques to solve our customer's manufacturing problems. Our on-site job shop allows us the added capability of handling manufacturing from the tooling design straight through to finished piece and ongoing production, including all maintenance activities.

A cutting edge Quality Department provides the finishing touches that our customers have come to expect and continue to receive.

Our memberships provide us with up-to-date information and benchmarking to assure our continued leadership in world manufacturing markets.
